Family Beach Time with the Jacksons/Harmons (and Happy Independence Day!)

>> Sunday, July 4, 2010

Happy 4th of July, everyone! I know I'm building a pretty strong case for my nerdiness by blogging on a holiday, but if you understood what I was doing right now (sitting on the dock at the lake watching fireworks) you'd probably figure it's a good time to blog as well!

I was excited to finally finishing editing the Jackson/Harmon family day at the beach. With 9 people and three sets of families there's really no way to get around overshooting (thus the long editing process). Though, I'm glad I did overshoot because the candid expressions that I caught on "accident" were definitely the best!

Big thanks to all of the family members for being patient on such a hot summer day! Even at dusk we still have to deal with sweltering heat in South Carolina. Thankfully the kids were able to relax and enjoy the surroundings long enough for me to capture special moments with each family member.

I'd like to point out that this entire family is solely devoted to Clemson, and for that I can attest their good looks and charm :)

I hope you all enjoy! Please visit my smugmug page to see the entire album.

love it!
Emma Kate LOVED playing with her Aunt Brittany!
precious Kayley
What a great looking family! I'm just bummed the sun was too bright for the little ones' eyes.

Back lighting helps :)
Keri and Patrick were friends of mine at Clemson. Never really thought I'd be taking their family portraits five years after graduation! Photography has been such a blessing to my life :)
If I HAD to pick.. this is prob my fav. Nothing plucks at your heartstrings more than a daddy and his little girl :)

About Me

My photo
Tia Nicole Photography has launched this summer after many practice photo sessions and the encouragement of some dear friends and family ("Life Through Tia's Lens" was a recommendation of my good friend, Kristin, who has been an avid supporter the whole way through!). This blog has documented the process from the beginning and also dates back to some older rantings during grad school and football seasons. Feel free to get to know me and my work. I like to focus primarily on natural shots, true emotions and beautiful landscapes. I also absolutely adore kids and pets so you will find a good bit of my work in these areas. Feel free to contact me anytime! I love blog comments!

My pup, Rylynn!
